Before that Final Blow.

No matter how “short” this week tends to be, the tension just wouldn’t get any lesser. And it’s exactly the reason why I need to put my feet up for a bit, destress a little and hopefully gain a renewed sense of academic drive and enthusiasm until semestral break commences. *insert excitement here* 😉 One good way of achieving that is to instill some good thoughts, alongside good laughs and conversations.

Which is why I deliberately blocked out my Monday night for a quick dinner with my good old college friends. One of us was to spend her last night here before heading back to Australia, and it was such perfect timing that I wasn’t too busy.  So after my morning stint with SEALNet, I took a quick nap, then got dressed for the night. And over that delectable slab of meat and after-meal coffee, we did some serious catching up. It was mind-blowing to know just how many things have transpired since college; since those days we thought we were grown-ups yet were still so juvenile in some ways.

And thinking of the “not-so-many” things we talked about that night got me thinking  on other thoughts as well. I wouldn’t want to lay them all down, but one thing’s for sure – I have no regrets as to who I am and where I am today.

Oh, call me weird. But at some point, writing down my thoughts is my fail-safe destressor and I know I could use one tonight.  So yeah, after this, I might as well start tinkering around my schedule and assess how much reading can be done to save me from utter failure!

 Or I could just sleep.

Ciao! 😀

Laughs. Loves. And Random Snippets.
